Hello lovely ladies and gents !
I recently received a sample of Holika Holika's Aloe Soothing Gel. I had been putting off trying it out as I tend to not enjoy aloe - it is nothing against the ingredient, it's just that when I was younger my mother would forcefully apply aloe to my skin at least once a week.

This gel is clear, slightly thick, yet spreads easily. It doesn't necessarily smell of anything in particular, just crisp and clean. The gel felt very cool and refreshing while it was being applied and nearly immediately began to sink in. It was as if the skin was simply drinking it up, it was truly a joy to experience. After the first layer was absorbed I just had to apply the rest!
About 20 minutes later I did 'the check' and noticed that the redness in my face has calmed. On top of that, my face felt very hydrated, soft, and really happy! If you haven't tried this gel yet it is really worth a go. :)
